Philadelphia Police Brutality:
This all occurred last night after the Bamboozle Road Show’s stop at the TLA. The bands pulled their van in the back alley to load out as the usual process, the South Street bike cops came through the alley, yelling at the bands to move their vans because they were not allowed to park. The bands asked the cops if they could have a few extra minutes so they could get all their gear out; cars rarely travel down that alley and there was no rush. The cops didn’t care and started writing a ticket for the parking violation. They made claims that the trailer tags were invalid and wanted to see proof of insurance but when the bands went to look for it, the cops replied “No time to wait, you’re getting a ticket anyway.” The bands were instructed to move so once they finished packing, they attempted to move the van, BUT they were given another ticket for a moving violation.
Four tickets were written and it upset Trevor (tour manager) so he tried to contest them and was arrested for what I’m assuming to be “obstruction of justice.” As they had him in handcuffs, Chris (who sells merch on the tour) tried to come outside to contest his arrest, he was yelled at to stay inside and in discussion the police lost patience and literally beat him back inside the door, then to the ground, and arrested him for “assaulting a police office” when he did not touch them nor gave them any incentive to think they were in danger. An office has the right to use force when he fears his own safety is in danger. A verbal argument is not justification to beat an innocent bystander with metal batons. After the cuffed him and picked him up, a large pool of blood was on the ground where his head was.
More yelling ensued outside. After a few minutes passed and we exchanged looks of horror standing by the blood, we saw our friend Ian (guitar tech) being thrown back inside with an officer yelling “I told you to stay inside!” Ian replied that he was just trying to do his job and load the equipment into the trailer, the cop had no patience for that, began to beat him and toss him into the door, sending him to the ground. He was turned over and cuffed immediately without any explanation as to why he was being arrested.
Please reblog, retweet, repost, reanything this video to spread the word that these acts of hate need to end. This is not the first time I witnessed the same exact cops abuse their power of authority. My band has played the TLA many times and I’ve been to many shows where the officers have no patience for touring musicians and have arrested friends on false terms.
EDIT: Let me make it known that I support the PPD and their right to “Serve and Protect.” My family has ties with the Philadelphia Police, I have several neighbors who are officers, a close family friend was one of the officers killed in action recently, and my brother is an officer in New Jersey. I do not support the fact that certain officers take their power of authority to an extreme level with no intention to protect the public, only to hurt them.

im sooo proud of my hometown boys we the kings rite now!!! i just heard “secret valentine” on the radio for the first time ever at 10:44pm est!!!
i was listening to my ipod in the car and randomly flipped on 93.3flz [[tampa bay station]] rite as they started playing it. i heard the piano music and freaked the fuck out!!! and they were like “we can literally see these boys out of our backyard. the bradenton boys WE THE KINGS “secret valentine”. “ i literally started crying i was sooo happy and proud of them. i turned it all the way up of course and screamed at everyone that could hear that “i know them!!!”.
this was just like the time i first heard “check yes juliet” on the radio about a year ago, and was sooo excited that i almost drove my car off the anna maria island bridge!!!
this of course required a trip to walmart to buy yet another we the kings cd [[and move them all to the front so everyone can see them]] and carton of tropicana oj.

im sooo proud of travis, hunter, drew, and danny and how far theyve come over the years. i remember wayyy back in the day when they were this little local garage band known as BROKEN IMAGE. when the played parties, school dances, starbucks, just anywhere they could. im sooo glad they never gave up, and followed their dreams.
and as everyone knows… its my goal to turn the world into WTK fans!!!

piggybacking...
this is a new term i created awhile ago… idk if other ppl use it or not.
this is when you and another person are volunteered to be the dds [[designated drivers]] when you must take more than one car to go out.
you either decide to not go to the club with them and instead hang at home or somewhere else until they call you to pick them up. or go but dont drink any alcohol at all [[like a dd shoud do!!!]]. but the other dd decides to go to the club with them and has wayyy more drinks than they should. when its time to leave this person is buzzed. now you must become the “piggybacker” and follow this person to thier final destination. as a piggybacker you must tailgate this person and make sure you stay behind them using any means neccesary [[running redlights, stop signs, and speeding]]. and if you see a cop, try to get yourself pulled over rather than them and prevent them from getting a dui [[because you are sober, and will get in a lot less trouble]]. however if you come to a dui checkpoint, the other person is screwed and there is nothing you can do. they are on their own. act like you dont know them.
being a “piggybacker” is much more responsibility than being just a dd.
bottom line is:
dont drink and drive… and dont fucking drink if youre the dd!!!

look at the facts:
~where is her makeup??? they were just at a party… so why isnt she wearing any makeup???
~why arent her eyes puffy from crying??? the reports of neighbors nearby the scene say she was crying and screaming hysterically… yet theres no sign she was crying in the pics. her eyes arent swollen or red.
~shes in the front seat of a car. and it appears to have been taken with a camera phone. cops wouldnt have taken them with a camera phone or in the front seat of a car. also appears to have been taken thru the windshield. they wouldnt have done that either. looks like a bad papparrazi shot to me.
~her bottom lip is busted and bloody, yet the top is perfectly fine… no cuts, blood, swelling anything… yet the corners are bloody.
~bruises on top of the eyelids, yet the bottoms are barely blackend… if he hit her that hard in the face, her whole face would be blackend.hes a big guy and woulda done a lot worse damage than that.
~why isnt there one with her eyes open??? if so she would have red spots and blood blisters on her eyeballs.
~her nose is fine. which i dont see how he could hit her that hard in a fit of rage and not done any damage too or even bloodied her nose.
~her forehead is apparently swollen, yet again no cuts or bruises or marks.
~her face is perfectly clear… no blood.
~pics taken of her a few days later show no signs of any of this… no busted lip, black eye, cuts on cheek, swollen forehead, nothing.
now if you still think this pic is real… then something is wrong with you.
youve obviously never seen what someone looks like after theyve been beaten up!!! go look at some “real abuse” pics, then go back and look at hers…
i hear that chris and rihanna are back together and i wish them the best!!! i also hear shes pregnant, but i dont believe everything i hear or see, or i woulda fell for that bad piece of photoshopped work. but if she is, then i wish her the best!!! i dont really like her, but i love him, and if she makes him happy, then thats all that matters!!!

im sooo sick and tired of hearing poor rihanna this poor rihanna that, and how all the ppl have death threats against chris brown…
FOR WHAT?!?!?!? because he finally had all he could take and snapped on her. there have been stories for weeks prior to this on how she was constantly beating the crap out of him and going off on him for no reason. and how she would flip out if he left her sight without telling her first. but because chris is the man, no one cared about that. i dont get why it is socially acceptable for a woman to beat a man for no reason, yet not okay when this man finally has all he can take and decides to fight back and defend himself. im sooo sick of hearing violence against women is never ok. VIOLENCE AGAINST ANYONE IS NEVER OK!!! man, woman, child, or animal. it sickens me that everyone is automatically taking her side because she is the woman. yes i have seen the pics, and its pretty bad. im sorry to say it, but i think she finally got what she deserved. shes lucky that he was man enough to walk away all the other times, and not do that to her every time she flipped out and beat him. and she should be doing jail time as well. but chris never pressed charges on her.
i KNEW she was bad news for chris from the very start. it sickens me that hes the bad guy in all this and she gets all the sympathy. well not from me she doesnt!!! and he has many more fans who agree with me and feel the exact same way that i do. so sorry but his career is not over. ppl need to wake up and not choose sides based on gender. why was it ok for her to beat him??? thats what i dont get…
if i have a son, he will be taught that its not ok to hit anyone, not just girls or women, but it is perfectly ok to defend yourself if someone is attacking you, regardless of gender. everyone has the right to defend themselves and its sad that chris is the bad guy for defending himself. that bitch is lucky that i was not around, cuz if i ever saw her hit him, she woulda got it a lot worse!!!
so i am putting out a death warrant on rihanna. i think its only fair…
